[ So a short recap of how they have come to this point: teamwork exercise gone terribly awry led to dating and awkward teenage fumbling between two teenagers who never grew certain important (but different, at the very least) parts of the emotional spectrum. When phrased like that, it is suddenly not entirely surprising that Bakugou has unexpectedly found himself frozen to the floor — even more ignominiously, his bedroom floor, because he did have to admit there was something that felt fundamentally Weird about going to Todoroki's house to canoodle when Todoroki's house has Todoroki's family in it and man all he's saying is that if he someday has to be a part of that family reunion then it's going to be a fucking terrible family dinner.
Awkward aside about Bakugou's awkward thoughts about being included in future Todoroki family dinners aside: he is frozen to his bedroom floor and he does not like it, because his toes are beginning to feel a bit numb and he really dislikes being trapped in one place. He isn't sure what exactly he said or did to elicit it, or if this is a combination of all the things he says and does, but he is pretty sure he doesn't deserve this. Probably? Yeah, he probably doesn't deserve this.
... He might deserve this. He just doesn't know the specifics about why he might deserve this. ]
So is this like a shitty joke, or...
[ He could probably free himself if he needed to, just aim a blow using his own quirk carefully to avoid catching himself in the debris, but that would involve bending over. At the moment, he feels like that's actually a very dangerous move to make.
Was it something he said?? Something he did?? Just his usual existence and being?? Would he actually apologize for any of these things?? (Answer: no, probably not.) Why is dating so hard and who decided to give superpowers to teenagers still in the middle of puberty, that was a terrible decision. ]
